The other purpose is a continuing fundraiser to help sustain the work and mission of FFGRR. Eco-Recycling Project details.

Past Events

Microchip Clinic - Sunday, November 7th. Forever Friends held a microchip clinic which was  open to the public.  Bark ‘Em Pet Supplies in Camarillo was the gracious host for the event.  We were able to chip eight dogs and one cat…they will all be enrolled in the lifetime AKC CAR recovery program.  This event gave Forever Friends a chance to be of service to the community, become better known, and make new friends.  The guest of honor was Courage, our very special rescue.

C.A.R.L. Pooch Parade - Sunday, July 11th, San Buenaventura State Beach Park, Ventura. This was a full day of fun, demonstrations, vendors, food, rescues, silent auction, and, of course, the costume pooch parade! Click on the picture at the left to see what fun everyone had.

The Moorpark Veterinary Hospital 20th Anniversary Open House May 8th was a huge success and a lot of fun. FFGRRescue had a Meet & Greet table and at least a dozen Goldens visiting or hanging out. Click the picture at the left for more pictures.

FFGRR Training Session - FFGRRescue hosted a training session for volunteers, fosters, adopters, and adopters-to-be on April 23rd at the Camarillo Grove Park. Shannon Coyner of Ventura Pet Wellness & Dog Training Center demonstrated the effectiveness of the Gentle Leader head collar and training for basic commands. A light lunch was enjoyed and three dogs found their forever homes! Click on the picture at the left to see more pictures.
