MAGNUM - I’m the new guy in town – Magnum! I am a five year old extremely happy go lucky guy that wants to be near you all the time. I know many basic commands, I am house trained and respond very well to the word “NO”! However, everyone I meet keeps making comments on how big I am. I guess I didn’t notice that my waistline has gotten a bit big. Anyway, now I am on a diet, and my foster Mom keeps telling me that I will feel like a new man when I drop a few. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt me will need to keep me on a very strict diet, because if you leave me to my own devices I may cheat a little. Also, I could use some exercise, and maybe a little work on the leash – since I am so big and strong, I could accidentally pull a little too hard. Next week I go see the vet for something called Neutering – and then I get to find my new forever home- I hope somebody reading this will decide I am the one for them. STELLA - Meet Stella....a lovely 2 year old girl who came to FFGRR from a shelter. Stella is looking for a very specific adopter. This lovely girl needs a quiet, sedate home where no children live or visit. Stella is crate and leash trained. She loves to go for walks and be outside in the backyard. Stella has spurts of puppy energy and she delights in chasing birds! She is house trained and crate trained. We don't know how Stella keeps her girlish figure because she loves to eat and is very treat motivated. Stella lets her humans know her boundaries. Although Stella loves to be petted she doesn't like being hugged around the neck. She does not like people to get in her face. She is not toy or food possesive and allows her foster dad to remove food or toys from her mouth. Stella is not a party girl and becomes nervous when around new folks. ...Stella will be a great dog for someone who can provide structure and routine in a quiet setting. DAWSON - Meet Dawson a young at heart 6 year old that deserves a second chance after being severely neglected. Dawson came to us in terrible condition with matts all over his beautiful coat. He didn’t need a complete shave – but he is looking a bit lopsided right now. Despite how humans treated him, Dawson still has the heart of a golden and just wants to please you and be near you. Dawson has gotten a complete check up and even had a few benign lumps and bumps removed, but is now a healthy thriving boy and is ready for his new home. Dawson still likes to play and loves other dogs, but he is not a hyper dog and is just as content to lie by your side. Dawson is house trained and up to date on all of his shots and neutered.
